Mills-McCartney 'trapped like an animal'

THE estranged wife of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney said yesterday she felt like a "trapped animal" when cornered by photographers in a pedestrian tunnel.
Heather Mills-McCartney, 39, was giving evidence in the trial of a freelance photographer, Jay Kaycappa, 32, who is charged with assaulting her. He denies two charges of common assault.

Brighton Magistrates Court was told that Ms Mills-McCartney was assaulted in the tunnel on Brighton seafront on 5 July last year. Kaycappa is alleged to have grabbed her right shoulder and turned her around in order to photograph her.



Ms Mills-McCartney said: "I panicked and thought I'll go back the other way.
I felt like a trapped animal." The trial was adjourned.
