The Kentucky Derby

The Kentucky Derby

I love animals, I love them with a passion, actually. I am usually one to watch horse races via television. I love the excitment of it all. Which horse with all its strength, passion, and glory will be the winner of this race that is about to commence?
Yesterday, I watched the Derby and I don't know if it was just me, but I was bummed and upset, after yesterdays results! Congratulations to the winner, but what about that poor Filly that came in second?

Man that made me so angry, furious, my eyes even watered! Here a beautiful, lil, big horse had her life taken away, snuffed out just like that! With two broken ankles I watched on the telly hoping that she had just fell ill, but that would not be the case, "Eight Belles" life ended shortly after that! a 3year old lil Filly. Here it is sunday and I'm still shook up.

The horse's look so happy running their asses off! Free and in the wind!

Are we wrong for racing horse's, is this abuse? I dunno, I'm asking myself this question since yesterday. My heart went out to this horse that I did not personally know.

Watching with beauty and grace, running down tha back stretch in her final moments of her life. I post this post in her honor. I am truly saddend as a huge animal lover, this magnificant racing horse lost her life,.. lead by the hand of man.~
